The story of MiClay started in 2004 when Michele Adshade began playing around with various types of mosaic applications using a variety of materials. One of these primary materials was ostrich egg shell, which was available in the Little Karoo. The Little Karoo, also known as the Klein Karoo is a small, green valley, and the center of the ostrich farming industry.

With the combination of the ceramics and ostrich eggs shells MiClay produces a range of unique home decor items that have an earthy, natural look. Michele’s décor items will undoubtedly add an exotic touch to your interior!
